Logophile, word freak, builder of sentences…I am a translator of French to English and Bulgarian to English. Pure. Whether it’s plain old material, snippets or tomes, I am interested. I welcome famous first lines, famous last words and everything in between. I welcome you.

Translation is about precision. You need to know the full measure of words and have the judgement to use them. Working in different countries has given me good grounding in intercultural communication. Working in relevant sectors has given me the knowledge and skills to use language well. Whether it’s interpreting for a child who’s having a liver transplant or translating for a small business, it means shouldering responsibility.

Trust is vital. I work with the AUSIT code of conduct and ethics. I have excellent qualifications, including:

• BA (Hons) in French with International Studies

• PgDip in Translation, Writing and Cultural Difference

• MA in Translation
